AWFUL EXPERIENCE – DO NOT USE My move from New York to France (Marseille area) was botched on a number of levels: – refusal to bring a container to my premises in NY (easily enough space) – repeated changes in departure dates, costing me $$$ in changes on the receiving end, then changes in delivery dates, mostly because… – CONTAINER WAS LOST for ten days, no-one could tell me where it was until I tracked it down myself – it was sitting at the port of Haifa in Israel, nowhere near the route it should have taken – several items stolen and quite a few broken (likely on container packing), and no-one at IVL cared – just shifted blame and refused to help – local agent in France (not IVL) was ok, but IVL was hopeless, incompetent. – overall stressful, unpleasant, really felt screwed over.
The people there were totally on board with my plan to quit Movement Pro Van Lines LLC and look for work elsewhere in the country. They put me in touch with local businesses and fast-tracked the shipping of my effects. Before they brought my things to my house, they checked twice to make sure everything was packed well.
Moving my home gym gear turned out to be a breeze with James help. He handled the disassembly and reassembly of the machines, making the whole move a walk in the park.
The movers we hired saved the day and made a potentially stressful situation easier. Everything was nicely wrapped and labeled, so unloading was a piece of cake.
The personnel were exceptional in every way. They took care of everything, so we didn’t have to worry about a thing during the relocation. We couldn’t have asked for a more competent group of workers to assist with our move.
We needed help relocating the very next day, and the team came through for us, hiring more people to assist us at the last minute. We highly recommend Edwards and his incredible staff, and will never forget our experience with them.
The movers did a great job with my move. It was easy to carry my big sofa down the stairs, and I was glad it wasn’t scratched. After delivering it, they also moved it into my flat. They did a wonderful job!
Honestly, these movers are impeccable. Guys are freaking awesome at the shifting game and can rock any relocation effortlessly.
This company is the biggest rip-off, do not use them. They hit you with all Kinds of fees. They lie to you just to get your business and refuse to deliver your furniture to your house. Saying they cannot get down the street there is still 2 storage bins missing worth $3500 broken my 70 in TV all the company gave me was $300 when there’s was $ 3500+ stuff missing and broken other damage don’t use this company this is the worst company still waiting for my refund bad company when are you going to refund me my $3500? For stuff that was Stole.this company should be put out of business
When I booked, they said my things would be delivered July 1st. It is now the 3rd and I am unable to get any answer about when they are coming. When I call, it’s just hold music and answering machines. My estimate was 2200 and in the end it cost 3700. They offer discounts to people who leave 5 star reviews, so don’t trust anything positive you read on here. This company is disorganized and it feels like a complete scam. I’m in an empty apartment in a new city with no clue when my things will arrive.
