We scheduled the service, and he kept me informed about how I needed to prepare in the days leading up to the visit. The day of the move, the two movers called before the appointment to confirm the time, and they arrived ready to go. They were so great to work with. They had me loaded quickly at one house and unloaded quickly at the other house. They navigated a set of tricky stairs with no problem, and they were gracious and courteous the entire time. I would recommend Transit Moving Systems again and again. Thank you for the outstanding service!
Five stars!!! These guys were awesome. They arrived on time and worked so quickly and efficiently that our move ended up two hours under the low end of our estimate. We had a couple pieces of large and heavy furniture that they did not give up on, including a massive antique dresser that they ended up getting in through a window on the second floor. They even sorted our boxes into the right rooms based on my color coding. I happily doubled my planned tip after seeing them sweating buckets and practically doing the splits on my roof to get the job done. 10/10, would use again.
Second time we have hired them for moving in the Bay Area. Incredibly hard working guys, they disassembled and reassembled all our furniture carefully and efficiently and took care of our fragile items. From couches and TV to glass moved to a two story home, they were able to complete everything without damage to any items. We could trust them as they wrapped every item and asked us where they could place everything. We asked their help with re-arranging things and they were always willing to help. I would 100% recommend them to everyone! Incredible job,.
Our experience with Guardian Van Lines could not have been worse. At first we had high hopes thank to an excellent sales experience and a strong partner in our rep Antony. D NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY!
DO NOT BOOK THIS COMPANY. Beware this is not a direct moving company. It is a broker and not a good one. Paula, after multiple discussions about how Ian did not do a good job giving us accurate information dodged my calls and avoided providing any money back. We called them approximately 20 times and never got any information. We finally gave up which I believe was their plan. So sad nice voices on the phone don’t provide good customer service.
DO NOT USE FREEDOM EXPRESS MOVING & STORAGE. I have never written a review before but because of our horrible experience, I feel moved to save someone else from this experience. Freedom to this company means that they have the Freedom not to deliver your furniture, the Freedom not to return your calls, the Freedom not to assist, the Freedom not to act professional. We had a delivery date set for 2 days after we moved, it has been a week and the company is not returning our calls.

On Oct. 29, 2016, the owner of Freedom Moving, Tyler John Hood, came to our home with two of his employees and helped us move into our new home. Upon further inspection my wife realized that her jewelry, credit cards, and other valuable items were gone. We contacted the owner and he promptly responded by saying that he would return all items and do anything possible to make things right. A month after the move we discovered that some of the items that had been returned were damaged or missing parts (broken gold necklaces with missing links, dented refrigerator door, scratched/broken furniture) and we also realized that items were missing from our garage (power tools, two new washer hoses, new moving straps). Tyler was notified by text, but he was indifferent to our situation by first denying that anything was stolen and then saying that it was too late to claim any losses (one month after). Ultimately, Tyler refused to assist us in any way and denied us the right to receive an insurance claim form. We disputed the charges on the credit card that we used to pay for his services and he responded by harassing us and referring to us as frauds, thieves, liars and con artists. At this juncture we are asking for a settlement of $1,100 (the difference between the cost to repair/replace damaged/stolen items ($2,000) and what was charged for the service(-$700)). Our advice to anyone reading this review is to make sure that you keep a record of any valuable items in your home and don’t trust anyone, even if they have five star reviews on Yelp. Also, if this has happened to you, you have 9 months to file a claim with the company’s insurance. You should keep all of the damaged items and report any theft to the proper authorities (police, public utilities commission) as soon as possible.
Incredibly helpful staff. When the other moving firm made me fill out paperwork before refusing to provide the services because they were “too busy,” Freedom Express Moving And Storage came to my rescue. The week before the relocation, we were given (for free) the boxes we would need. There wasn’t a single hiccup in the entire process, and the actual relocation went down without a hitch. I had no idea relocation could be that easy.
Lied to us about delivery time, lied to us about cost, never offered any help once our stuff was on the moving truck. Also they removed all Google reviews because they were getting such bad criticism… says a lot about the company. Please do not use them, there are plenty of reliable moving companies who will not cheat you out of money at every turn. Actually they’re not even a moving company… they just broker relationships between the client and a 3rd party moving company. Total scam.
