They give you a quote over the phone and then change it when they have your stuff on the truck. The mover were polite, but the company is a scam. I don’t understand how they are still in business with all this awful reviews.
The guy that called back to give me a quote was rude and argumentative. He was unprofessional and down rite nasty. So glad I didn’t just book the move online. They won’t be in business long!!!!
The only redeeming part of their service is that the movers were nice. The business itself was terrible…hidden and excessive fees for gasoline and travel time. Truly an awful experience. I believe that people erroneously hire these guys, as my wife did, thinking gthatthey are Two Men and a Truck. When you call management, Mike will come in hot and raise his voice without affording you the ability to say anything….this is likely becuase he so accustomed to hearing complaints that he just cuts to the chase. Save yourself the aggrevation and go with another moving company without ludicrous additional charges.
SCAM Read fine print. They charge extra for everything. Falsely stated they finished later than they actually did, adding to cost. THEY WILL NOT unload unless you pay. Review payment methods!!! Also came 2.5 hours late and would not compensate. Plus damaged an item and will not replace
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!! They are a SCAM!! They quote you a low price and then hold your property hostage until you pay their extortion rate when they over charge on packaging products and items they claim weight over 200lbs! They take extended hours to deliver just to increase your bill. We had to call the police to assist. Please do not use this company!
Scam company. Nothing but liars who took advantage of my elderly father. Added fees that were never discussed. Added damage to the floors and stairs. STAY AWAY!
They quoted a price and ended up charging 5x that. Then they refused to unload and kept charging for the time until paid by zelle to a personal account. The driver put ‘the boss’ on the phone who threatened aggressively by taking my stuff if not paid by zelle ‘immediately’ and denied giving any quotes before.
If you have to ask yourself, “the price is too good to be true” it probably is and you should find a more reputable company. I was warned that my items would be held ransom until payment was made by another company and I chose to look for a lower price elsewhere and I paid for it. This is your warning!
Sent two kids to work with little experience, save yourself a headache with these fraudsters!!!!!! Took them several hours just to move 3 rooms, 8 hours to be specific for just load the truck with 3 bedroom, living room and a dining room. No customer service, they won’t answer the phone!! Ripped off.
Do NOT hire Moving Specialist US Florida! I spoke to Mike who told me it would cost $99 an hour. This is the text message sent after speaking with him. I’d like to highlight that it states complementary services like blankets & shrink wrap. Morning of they have a contract that I sign with more fees, gas for traveling from Championship Gate which why would I hire someone coming from that far away?! And want to pay a $96 fuel fee for less than a mile moving?! A truck cleaning fee of $75 even though the truck wasn’t dirty from moving a 1 bedroom apartment of items. No plants, broken glass, etc. “2 professional movers” were kids with slides on their feet & destroyed items of mine. They showed up late to my house & took forever to load the truck. My BF & helped them. But the best part is they held me hostage for payment after I was already showing signs of distress from what this might cost me. For a mile away move from a living room full of items ready to go into a studio apartment it took them 5 + hours?! And made me Zelle the payment before they would unload the truck. Mind you the truck is a trailer attached to a truck. So for $99 an hour in my mind turns out to cost me $722!!!! I don’t know how they get away with this type of business model.
